Dr. Steve Jackson

Dr Jackson has over 15 years of experience developing applications for genomic analysis technologies. As a senior member of the Applications Development team at Thermo Fisher Scientific, he helps develop solutions for the research and healthcare markets, leveraging varied technologies such as capillary electrophoresis, RT-PCR, digital PCR, next-generation sequencing and microarray analysis. Before Thermo Fisher Scientific, Steve worked at NanoString Technologies (WA, USA) running the Field Applications Scientist team. He was also an Acting Assistant Professor at the University of Washington, Department of Genome Sciences (WA, USA), investigating developmental genetics of Drosophila melanogaster.
