Bioanalysis of liposomal drugs by LC-MS/MS
Refer a colleague
Liposomes, used as carriers for drug delivery, encapsulate and protect the therapeutic analytes from degration. They are also capable of controlling release rate, facilitating on-target delivery and reducing toxicity for drugs. In pharmacokinetic studies for liposomal drug products, bioanalytical methods are used to determine encapsulated and free concentrations of the active substance in biological samples (e.g. whole blood, plasma) should be employed. This webinar discusses the development and validation of LC-MS/MS methods for the quantitation of total (encapsulated plus free), encapsulated and free drug concentrations for liposomal drug products.
What will you learn?
- A background into the bioanalysis for liposomal drugs
- Methods to separate free drug from encapsulated drug
- How to develop and validate bioanalytical methods for the quantitation of total, encapsulated and free drug concentrations and case studies
Who will this interest?
- Any person who is interested in bioanalysis and liposomal drug development
