Waters announce new LC–MS test method for SARS-CoV-2 and other infectious diseases

A new research use only LC–MS method has been introduced by Waters Corporation (MA, USA) with the goal of advancing critical infectious disease research, including the continuing fight against COVID-19. Highly sensitive, the novel detection method can detect low levels of three unique peptides derived from the SARS-CoV-2 nucleocapsid protein in less than 2 minutes. Initial studies have shown the quantitative results to be highly accurate.
