In this interview we talk to Stephane Moreau (Shimadzu, Europe) about his research into nSMOL monoclonal antibody analysis. Stephane discusses the benefits of this technique in comparison with traditional technology like immunoassays. He talks through the nSMOL monoclonal antibody kit and the principles of trapping the monoclonal antibody using an immunoglobulin collection resin and then digestion using trypsin. The benefits of nSMOL are highlighted including being faster and easier to use as well as requiring less method development.
