Written by Alex Hyde, Future Science Group

As of September 2019, Shimadzu (Kyoto, Japan) has opened a branch office in Stockholm (Sweden). The international provider of analytical instrumentation is represented in all European countries with subsidiaries, branch offices and distributors.

The new branch office contains administration space, demonstration laboratories and seminar rooms, promising to deliver Sweden Shimadzu’s full range of analytical instrumentation.

“We are proud to be present in the home country of Alfred Nobel and Swedish Laureates from chemical, physical, clinical and engineering sciences”, commented Lage Thaning, Managing Director, Shimadzu. “Sweden has always been an early adopter of new technologies and open-minded towards new developments.”
