The Bioanalytical Chemistry and Diagnostics group focuses on applied analytical projects, aiming to use chemistry skills to solve real-world biological and clinical problems and contribute to optimal health. Most of our work is in three areas – osteoarthritis research, development of rapid, novel methods for drugs in complex matrices and, more recently, proteomics. The laboratory employs a wide range of techniques from chromatography and other separation methods to spectroscopy and imaging.
