It can be challenging to source a therapeutic monoclonal antibody drug for research studies or assay development. Antibody drug reference products can be hard to get hold of, expensive and only available in an unnecessarily large quantity.
To enable fast and inexpensive assay development, Bio-Rad offers biosimilars of monoclonal antibody drugs for research use, complementing our most popular anti-biotherapeutic antibodies.
The antibodies are comparable in purity and monodispersity with the therapeutic antibody when tested side-by-side using SDS-PAGE and SEC. They also show similar performance as a reference standard in a PK bridging ELISA with our anti-idiotypic antibodies.
