As the new year begins, Bioanalysis Zone have been busy updating the 2019 events calendar featuring key bioanalytical events, conferences and workshops that are coming up over the next year. JANUARY
24-27 January: ASMA Sanibel Conference
American Society of Mass Spectrometry Sanibel Conference
Hosted in Florida, USA, the 2019 Sanibel Conference will highlight both the latest technology development and emerging applications in structural MS using chemical cross-linking and covalent labeling technologies. The aim is to share ideas, harmonize protocols and software tools and to facilitate interactions among different areas of work.
FEBRUARY
5-8 February: CPSA Europe
2nd Annual European Symposium on Clinical and Pharmaceutical Solutions through Analysis
Each session at CPSA Europe will address the current industrial landscape and the global need to bring products to market faster. The program chairs will promote discussion and exchange of experiences, ideas, and visions so that current processes that involve analytical measurement can be benchmarked and future strategies may be developed. Registration is now open on the CPSA website to attend this year’s meeting, hosted in Cambridge, UK. The Bioanalysis Zone and Bioanalysis journal team will also be attending and we would love to meet you!
12-14 February: 10th JBF Symposium
10th Japan Bioanalysis Forum Symposium
This event will cover multidisciplinary topics including validation of biomarker determination, bioanalysis of antibody drug, new analytical technologies and collaboration sessions with related organizations. Registration will be available on the JBF website on 30th November.
26-27 February: Flow Chemistry Europe
The selected speakers include chemists and chemical engineers, from both industrial and academic backgrounds, discussing topics covering fields such as chemical synthesis in flow, the development of multi-step synthesis and applications in pharmaceutical manufacturing. Register on the Flow Chemistry Europe website to attend this year’s conference, held in Cambridge, UK.
26-28 February: AsiaTIDES: Oligonucleotide and Peptide Therapeutics
Hosted in Tokyo, Japan, the 2019 AsiaTIDES conference will bring together science, technologies and partners to accelerate oligonucleotide and peptide therapeutics to the market. The event will cover topics including mRNA therapeutics, peptide discovery, drug targets and delivery strategies. Registration and more information can be found on the AsiaTIDES website.
MARCH
1 March: ChromSoc: Emerging Separations Technologies
ChromSoc aims to give insights into the latest innovations in column and instrument technologies through novel application and utilisation in life sciences. Hosted in London, UK, the agenda will cover topics such as analysis of complex analytes, multidimensional chromatography and new detectors. 11-13 March: CPSA Metabolomics
5th Annual Metabolomics Symposium on Clinical & Pharmaceutical Solutions through Analysis
Hosted in Florida, USA, ‘the goal of CPSA Metabolomics is to provide in-depth review of innovative technology and industry practices through open discussion of industry-related issues and needs.’ Keep an eye on the Bioanalysis Zone and CPSA website for more details.
17-21 March: Pittcon Conference and Expo
Pittsburgh Conference on Analytical Chemistry and Applied Spectroscopy
Pittcon is a dynamic global event that offers a unique opportunity to get a hands-on look at the latest innovations and to find solutions to all your laboratory challenges. Register on the Pittcon website to attend this year’s conference, held in Pennsylvania, USA.
21-22 March: EBF Young Scientist Symposium
In this meeting, hosted in Bologna, Italy, young scientists will come together to discuss the evolution of their industry, from updates to guidelines to overcoming issues in the lab and new technologies being adopted by their peers.
