Conference and event highlights: July to September
As we approach the summer holidays, the Bioanalysis Zone team has begun planning for our upcoming events, conferences and meetings for the next few months. JULY
7–10 July: PREP
The 32nd International Symposium on Preparative and Process Chromatography.
Founded in 1985, PREP is one of the longest running and most recognized international scientific conference and exposition driving the field of chromatography. This year’s symposium, held in Baltimore (MD, USA), will focus on the development, design, optimization and operation of chromatographic processes and technologies across a wide range of applications. 10–12 July: ISPPP
The 39th International Symposium on the Separation of Proteins, Peptides and Polynucleotides.
Also hosted in Baltimore (MD, USA), this event brings together the world’s leading scientists to discuss recent advances and applications of separation, analysis and characterization methods including mass spectrometry, HPLC and UHPLC. Registration is open on the ISPPP website, including a discounted fee allowing access to both the ISPPP 2019 and the PREP 2019 in a full day overlap for joint technical program activities.
15–18 July: 20th Annual Land O’Lakes Bioanalytical Conference
This event provides an educational forum to discuss issues and applications concerning the analysis of approaches associated with gene therapy and multiomics, in a mixture of lectures, panel discussions and poster sessions. Registration is open to attend this year’s conference, held in Madison (WI, USA).
AUGUST
16–19 August: CPSA Brasil
The 6th Annual Brasilian Symposium on Clinical and Pharmaceutical Solutions through Analysis.
Each session at CPSA Brasil, hosted in São Paulo, will address the current industrial landscape and the global need to bring products to market faster, with the goal of providing an in-depth review of innovative technology and industrial practices through open discussion. SEPTEMBER
4–5 September: AAPS
American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists: Opportunities and Challenges in Translating Cell and Gene Therapy Products.
Bioanalysis Zone is proud to be the media partner for this workshop which will focus on the rapidly evolving and complex advanced therapeutics and medicinal products field. The latest in discovery and early development breakthroughs will be discussed, as well as case studies on gene editing technology, innovation in manufacturing, product testing and more. 9–11 September: 15th Annual APA Meeting
Annual Applied Pharmaceutical Analysis Meeting.
This event, held in Boston (MA, USA), will feature speakers from academia, pharma and CROs discussing topics including regulated bioanalysis, discovery bioanalysis and new technologies, and mechanistic ADME. More details and registration can be found on the APA website.
23–26 September: REID
The 23rd International Reid Bioanalytical Forum.
Run by the Chromatographic Society and held in Cambridge (UK), this event offers an inclusive and supportive environment for early career scientists to learn from experts, with sessions covering a mix of new technologies, emerging trends in bioanalysis, together with regulatory aspects. Registration and abstract submission for this year’s event is open and can be found on the ChromSoc website.
