Liz has been working in the CRO (Contract Research Organisation) and Pharmaceutical industries for 30 years, the majority of these spent in Bioanalysis.
She is currently the CEO of Alderley Analytical, a Bioanalytical CRO, which she, and three colleagues, set up at Alderley Park, Cheshire UK in February 2014. Prior to this she held the role of Vice President of the Bioanalytical business at ICON with a major role in the harmonization, development and growth of the business globally. Prior to joining ICON, Liz was the Global Leader for regulatory Bioanalysis at AstraZeneca. In this role she was responsible for providing scientific, regulatory and strategic leadership both globally and locally. In the earlier stages of her career she also managed Bioanalytical groups in Quintiles and Covance.
Liz has authored and co-authored many publications and has presented on Bioanalytical and Regulatory topics in the UK, Europe, US, China, India and Jordan. Liz qualified as an Analytical Chemist while working at Glasgow University and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC).
